I first began seeing a chiropractor when I was 8 years old. At the time my mother was seeing a chiropractor for a debilitating case of fibromyalgia and was getting great results. The impact that chiropractic had on myself and my family’s health inspired me to become a Chiropractor. I graduated with honours in a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Chiropractic degree from Murdoch University.
Since finishing University eight years ago, I have done further studies in paediatrics, dry needling/acupuncture and risk assessment of chiropractic treatment. I have a special interest in sports chiropractic, and the diagnosis of orthopaedic and neurological syndromes. After diagnosing a condition, we use evidence-based techniques such as manual and soft tissue therapies; and rehabilitation exercises to allow people return from injury; to doing the activities that they love as quick as possible.
In my free time, I’m an avid reader of anything and everything, and I love hanging and with my husband and our pup Sooty. I love yoga and pilates, and you guessed it, long walks along the beach (preferably a dog beach). Can’t wait to meet you all at the clinic sometime soon!
